Today we went berry picking. I was planning on getting cherries but there were also raspberries and blueberries!
I never picked blueberries before. It takes awhile to fill a bowl but they are so good!
The black raspberry bushes scratched us all up but the red ones didn't have thorns. We picked til my fingers were stained blue and red.
What a berry haul!

did you make the crust from scratch? the blueberries ones look yummy!
I was in a time crunch so I used Wegmans pre-made pie crusts but they turned out delicious!

OK, so there are SOME benefits to living in the North - I'd say the weather and the berries are top of the list!
