Chalkboard Easter Eggs!

Every year I try to top the Easter eggs I made the last year. After painting the chalkboard in the hallway, I had some leftover chalkboard paint and had a great idea for my eggs.

Chalkboard eggs!

The paint went on really nicely.

It's great for writing people's names and greetings on the eggs! Now I am wondering what else around the house I can paint with chalkboard paint!

  1. I'd LOVE to paint an old globe with chalkboard paint! (Love the eggs and hallways chalkboard btw!)

  2. Cute! I think this is my favorite easter egg idea I've seen this year. Hope I remember it by the time next Easter rolls around!

  4. Planters! Mason jar lids! Back of the front door!

I too have a chalkboard painted hallway, but the whole thing is chalkboard, top to bottom. Our friends LOVE it.

  5. ooh! nice!! I did some rocks (I found a place that sells rocks to landscapers by weight & they GAVE me a bunch of free rocks!) Not sure how some gift recipients liked the rocks but I think they are cool!

  6. very cool idea! I used chalkboard paint for this project: http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2010/01/how-to_chalkboard_hangers.html

and then gave them as gifts with the recipient's name written on the hanger and fabric, cards and other goodies clipped in the hanger.

    have fun!
