Aaron has always been a great dad to the pugs but I was pretty excited to get him dad-to-be gifts for Father's Day. I like that they had special cards for the occasion.
Aaron calls this his Dad Starter Kit. Cigars and a humidor, super dad t-shirt and a Tilley hat.
We had a lot to celebrate this Father's Day so I made it a special one for this dad-to-be. First he opened gifts and then we went out for brunch.
After brunch we went to the gun club and did some target shooting.
Then we stopped for some ice cream with the pugs (the new Ginger Lion) and then back home to grill some bulgogi. I hope Aaron enjoyed his special day... next year he will have an extra fan!
I have one of the biggest announcements I've posted to this blog yet. Aaron and I are expecting! As of today I am 15 and half weeks along. We will be welcoming a little boy to the family sometime around December 7. I feel great and was amazed that I didn't have a speck of morning sickness. I was tired enough that I could have crawled under my desk and slept at work but that is improving.
We are so excited to bring more love to our family and there is no one I would rather go on this journey with than Aaron who will be the most patient, understanding and fun dad. We are feeling blessed beyond measure.
I don't expect this to turn into a mommy blog but I am excited to share pictures, stories and projects of our new addition just like I do with our furry four.
The pugs and cats have not yet grasped what is going on but once food starts getting thrown on the floor they will be cool with it.

The boys got Aaron a Fitbit Charge for Father's Day! Now we can compete on our steps.
Aaron made the discovery however that I take almost two steps for everyone one of his so now he has to step it up! Heh heh.
I think it's great that we got to spend Father's Day at the beach. Probably a perfect day in my dad's mind.

For Father's Day, the pugs got these Rochester cufflinks from Knotty Owl for Aaron.
They also got him this awesome t-shirt from TeeSpring.
Happy Father's Day! Oscar and Hugo went with a beer theme for Aaron's gift. They got him a beer periodic table and beer flight glasses. They know him well.
We are home for the weekend. Hugo loves running around my parents property. Country dog.
The pugs wanted to make sure Aaron had a good Father's Day so they pooled their money together and got him this grill. Actually he got it a month ago and couldn't wait until Father's Day to put it together and use it. So for Father's Day they got him the smoker attachment. Actually it was Stewie's idea but they are taking credit.
We also had some of Aaron's favorite things for Father's Day... Starbucks, bulgogi and a giant donut shaped like a pretzel. I hope all Dads had a great Father's Day.
