As sort of a birthday present to myself, I got a hot pink streak dyed in my hair. It's in the back and hard to see... pretty subtle. But I like it and I can see wanting more!
I don't have my ears pierced either. Back in the early 90s when I was a poor college student still clinging to punk rock, I'd put a streak of color in my blonde hair using a highlighter marker. Quick, non-permanent, and El Cheapo to boot. And maybe a little nutty, but hey, it did the job! ;o)
I like it. It's strange to see a female without her ears pierced (in a good way, I mean). Amazing, really. I don't think I know a single female who doesn't have them pierced!

I worked at Pizza Hut as a kid and dyed my hair burgundy and it matched my uniform. I looked like the biggest dork in Texas.

Oh, I do have pierced ears. You just can't see the hole in that picure. My left ear is pierced on top too.
