Since it looked like I was having so much fun making berry pocket pies, my friend Debbie gave me a similiar Calzone Maker.

Using Wegmans pre-made wheat pizza dough makes calzones a super fast and easy weeknight supper. I stuffed ours with tomato sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. Classic ingredients for my first try. I'll get fancy later.

These calzones turned out huge! There were enough for supper with plenty of leftovers for lunch and even enough to share with office peeps at lunch! (which they were thrilled about)

  1. Yum! Need to try those. We eat home-made pizza often, so it would be a nice spin on that.
